Strategic review of Information and Communications Technology (I.C.T.) cost base on behalf of Irish Continental Group. Identifying costs for immediate cost reduction and potential outsourcing opportunities, resulting in annual savings of 20% or €400k.
Responsible for the finance and procurement operations of Hewlett Packard Managed Services for the outsourcing of Bank of Ireland P.L.C. I.T. Infrastructure in the U.K. and Ireland. Contract in excess of €600m, co-ordinating staff of 350, resulting in savings of 20%.
Responsible for the financial restructuring of eircom subsidiaries, eircom U.K. and eircom Northern Ireland turning them from loss making to profitability within twelve months. Turnover in excess of €40m, staff of 50, delivering savings of €6m or 20%.
Led the Commercial negotiations on behalf of Telefonica O2 Ireland for the pan-European network sharing agreement between Telefonica Europe and Vodafone.
Responsible for the design and implementation of new wholesale business on behalf of eircom P.L.C. on the introduction of Telecoms deregulation in the Irish Market. Revenue in excess of €300m, employees of 150.
